William E. Troutman, 86, formerly of Newport, died early Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Perry Village Nursing Home, New Bloomfield. Born October 6, 1931 in New Bloomfield, he was the son of the late George E. and Mary Holmes Troutman.
Mr. Troutman was a hardworking man who enjoyed country music, traveling, hunting, fishing, and working from dawn to dusk. He had been an employee of Miller Twp.
He was the widower of Peggy (Horting) Troutman (2001) and is survived by three sons, Rick Troutman, William Troutman, and Timothy Troutman, all of Delaware; three daughters, Billie Jean Noctor of Mechanicsburg, Joyce Ann Troutman and Frances Stiner both of Delaware; three brothers, Paul and Jesse Troutman of Newport, John Troutman of Texas, a sister, Pea Kuhn of Blaine, 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, George E. Troutman, a daughter, Sharon K. King, two brothers, George R. Troutman and Harry R. Troutman, and a granddaughter, Donna Snyder.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, June 15, 2018 in the Boyer Family Funeral Home, New Bloomfield. Rev Gary Shew will officiate. Burial will be in New Bloomfield Cemetery. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
