Henrietta Ettien

Henrietta Ettien, 94, of Little Buffalo Road, Newport, died early Saturday, March 14, 2020 at home.

Born November 20, 1925 in Saville Twp., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Edna (Jacobs) Hoffman.

Henrietta was a farmwife.  She and her late husband Jimmy were dairy farmers.  She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Marklesville.

She was the widow of James W. Ettien (2013) and is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Trout and husband Edward of Newport and Cindy Comp and husband Joe of New Bloomfield,  two grandsons, Logan and Cody, and a sister-in-law, Mildred Hoffman of Newville.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Foster, Lewis, Ray, and Stanley Hoffman.



Services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in the Boyer Family Funeral Home, New Bloomfield.  Burial will be in Newport Cemetery.  A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
