Richard S. Lesh Sr., 82, of 451 Cemetery Road, Newport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Brookline Manor Nursing Home, Mifflintown.

Born October 13, 1932 in Harrisburg he was the son of the late Roscoe Sr., and Jessie Snyder Lesh.

He was a member of The Thompsontown Campus of the Newport Assembly of God, a retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp., an air force veteran of the Korean war, a member of Mifflintown American Legion Post 298.  He loved his family, blue grass and gospel music.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Dolores (Thrasher) Lesh; 3 sons: Richard S. Lesh Jr. of Florida, Michael Lesh and wife Mary of Thompsontown and David Lesh and wife Katie of Newport. 2 daughters, Annette McGraw and husband Lee of Carthage, NC and Debbie Grove and husband Rev. James C. Grove II of Erie.  2 brothers, Donald Lesh of Ohio and Roscoe “Lou” Lesh Jr. of Harrisburg, a sister, Betty Snyder of Harrisburg and 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother Joseph and a sister Dolly Jorich.
