Richard “Dick” Zuna

5/3/44 – 7/21/20

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Richard “Dick” Zuna, 76, went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2020 at Premier at Perry Village, Bloomfield with his faithful companion, Maria Zuna, by his side.  Born in Dauphin County on May 3, 1944, Dick is the son of the late Frank and Bessie Zuna.

Others would describe Dick as being very friendly, always willing to help others, a “giver”, and loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed farming, tractor shows, hunting, driving his ’53 Ford and building machines.
He worked for Allander Brothers as a heavy equipment operator for over 20 years and owned Zuna’s Machine Shop in Duncannon, Pa for over 30 years.  He belonged to the National Rifle Association and Duncannon Sportsmans Association.   

Surviving in addition to his faithful partner, Maria, are three nieces: Joann Zuna of Wormleysburg, Becky Lovett of Chambersburg and Tracy Cooper (husband Conn) of Halifax. Brothers: Robert (wife Sue) of Duncannon, John, James of New Cumberland and William (wife Mary) of West Virginia. Dick also has several other nieces, nephews and cousins.


Graveside services will be held at the Riverview Memorial Gardens, 3776 Peters Mountain Rd, Halifax on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00am.
