Raymond Pineiro, 59, of Middle Ridge Road, Newport, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at his Juniata Twp. Home on Saturday, March 16, 2019.

Born April 5, 1959 in Manhattan, NY, he was the son of Blanche Pineiro and the late Ramon Pineiro.

Ray was a loyal husband, devoted father, loving grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend.  He loved woodworking and many times could be found making toys for the children at Christmastime. He was a graduate of Entenmann’s Baking School and enjoyed making wedding cakes.  The most recent, was making his own daughter’s wedding cake in 2018, earning him the title “Daddy Cake Boss.”  Ray was a man of many talents, some of which include, plumbing, electrical, and mechanics.  His wife often said, she never had to call a repairman.  To his friends, he will always be remembered as a great storyteller.  Ray served over 30 years in this local church in many different capacities, including usher, maintenance man, and A/V technician.

One of his greatest accomplishments in life was working with young men in the church and doing apprentice programs while serving the elderly.  He also built his own home while teaching young men valuable trades. Everyone he worked with held a special place in his heart.

Surviving are his wife of nearly 39 years, whom he often referred to as “the love of his life,” Mary Anne Pineiro; a daughter, Genevieve, who was the apple of his eye;  son-in-law Cameron, who he loved as his own son; and a granddaughter Elliana Joy, who truly was his greatest joy and best Christmas present the last three months of his life.

Graveside services were held in Newport Cemetery on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 with his family and friends present.  A memorial celebration of his life will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in Blessed Hope Bible Church, 9 Witmer Road, Liverpool, PA. His Pastor, John Mallonee will officiate.

The family requests that donations be made to Mrs. Pineiro to help with funeral expenses.

The Boyer Family is honored to handle the arrangements for the Pineiro Family.
