Laura E. Lingle, 89, of Young’s Church Road, Shermans Dale, and formerly of Marysville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at her Carroll Twp. Home.

Born June 8, 1929 in Harrisburg she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Rollason) Siegfried.

Laura was a quiet and lovely person who loved her family.  She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Marysville, where she was active in many church activities and taught bible school.  She had been an employee of the Shermans Dale Twin Kiss for 35 years and was a member of the Shermans Dale Red Hat Society and a leader in 4-H.

She was the widow of Edgar R. Lingle, Sr. and is survived by a son, Edgar R. Lingle Jr. and wife Sharon who were her caregivers and with whom she lived. Grandchildren, Jennifer Mullen and husband Larry Mullen Jr. of Duncannon, Melissa Kitner and husband Jerry of Marysville, Edgar, Kristy and Pamela. Great grandchildren, Cody, Mason, Quinton and Courtney Mullen.  Two brothers, Eugene and Edward Siegfried both of Harrisburg.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Paul G. Lingle, brothers, William and Walter Siegfried, sisters, Alice Page, Elizabeth Settino and Elaine Ortenzio.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Young’s United Methodist Church, Shermans Dale. Burial will be in Grier’s Point Cemetery, Marysville.  Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
