Hanna Beth Hooven

9/29/93 – 9/30/20

Hannah Beth Hooven, 27, of Duncannon, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on September 30, 2020.  Born on September 29th in Harrisburg,  she is the daughter of Tom and Robin Hooven of Duncannon.

She is a graduate of Susquenita High School and worked as a Home Health Aide.

In addition to her parents, Hannah is survived by her young daughter, Giavannah Elaine Stellar (father Jake Stellar), brother Christopher Hooven and wife Krista of Lock Haven, sister Amberly Hooven of Duncannon, grandmothers Robin Karnes and Elizabeth Chronister and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by an uncle John Karnes and grandfathers John Hooven and Charles Karnes.

Hannah was known by others as beautiful, kind, caring, passionate, vibrant and a “people person”.  She was a wonderful mother to Giavannah and thought of her as the center of her universe.  She enjoyed the outdoors, playing softball, and spending time with friends, family, and animals.


A Celebration of her Life and memorial will be held on October 8, 2020 at the Boyer Family Funeral Home, 230 N. High St, Duncannon at 11am.  Friends and family are invited to visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Harrisburg. Pastor Larry Hale will  officiate.

The family requests that memorial Contributions, to help pay for Hannah’s funeral expenses, be made to the Boyer Family Funeral Home, 230 N. High St, Duncannon, PA 17020

The Boyer family is honored to handle the arrangements for the Hooven family.
