Gary William Garman

10/24/40 – 8/13/20

Gary William Garman, 79, formerly of Shermans Dale, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Premier at Perry Village.

Born October 24, 1940 in Sunbury, he was the son of the late William P. and Ruth (Straub) Garman.

Gary was a Patriot and served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a computer programmer for the Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC) in Philadelphia.  He was a proud Golden Eagle member of the National Rifle Association.  He loved the ocean and deep-sea fishing and hunting.  He could be found around the grill if something was cooking.

 Surviving are a son, Jeff Garman and wife Kathy of Shermans Dale, a daughter, Sue Ruby of Liverpool.  3 grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, and Brandi Ruby; 4 great grandchildren, Abby, Brynnlee, Makenna and Jace.

SERVICE DETAILS

Services and interment, with full military honors, will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.                 

Covid 19 protocols, masks, and social distancing will be observed.
