We Do Luncheons!

When I was a boy, “after funeral luncheons” were very common and done by the church family.  My mother would make baked beans and some of the church ladies would each make their favorite dish….everyone brought something.

Now, we are living in a time when church has become less popular, attendance is down and most churches, not all,  don’t  have a ladies group to put luncheons together. So, we provide that service for you.  There are many food variations in selecting a menu.  You decide what foods and we will prepare it.

Our staff will:

  • Order and prepare the food (see sample menu below)
  • Set the tables
  • Keep the buffet table stocked
  • Supply the plates, dishes, knives, forks, spoons, salt, pepper, sugar and napkins
  • After the luncheon is over we clean up and dispose of the trash

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The family decides what facility to use. (There is usually a rental fee)

The average number of people that attend luncheons is 75.

This is the most common luncheon menu:

  • Individually wrapped sandwiches of Ham or Roast Beef or Chicken.
  • Hot baked beans
  • Potato or macaroni salad or both.
  • Cheese tray, pickle tray, veggie tray
  • Potato chips (bags)
  • Desert- sheet cake or pies (as you prefer)
  • Coffee, Tea, Lemonade, Ice Tea.

Menus are decided by each family.  Cost cannot be quoted in advance due to unstable food prices.

Prices can be quoted the week of the luncheon.

All luncheons are buffet style.
