Diane L. Anderson

Diane L. Anderson, 75, formerly of Shermans Dale, a resident at The Thornwald Home, Carlisle, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2020 at her residence.

Born February 15, 1945 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. Sr. and Pauline V. (Brunner) Conrad.
Diane was a Christian and a member of Young’s United Methodist Church.  She had worked for Bob and Rena Brunner since she graduated from high School.  She was a patriot and served her country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  She had a warm smile and happy countenance and was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and great grandmother.  She collected seashells and enjoyed puzzles, taking pictures, and spending time with her family.


She was the widow of Lester F. Anderson Jr. (2019) and is survived by 3 sons, Lester “Kip” Anderson III and wife Melissa of Shermans Dale, Roger Anderson and wife Courtney of Newville and Justin Anderson and wife Gretchen of Harrisburg;  2 brothers, Harry J. Conrad and Roger A. Conrad both of Shermans Dale; 5 grandchildren, Katie, McKenzie, Ethan, Parker and Evan, and  2 Great grandchildren, Tristan and Adalee. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Conrad.


Due to unforseen circumstances memorial services will be held at a later date.
