Derek Alan Bostwick, 34, entered into rest Sunday, June 5th, 2016, at his home in Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania. A man of few words, his gracious heart often spoke for him. Derek loved being outside, whether it was fishing, grilling, or riding 4-wheelers, but his true passion in life was his daughters. He was a very kind, gentle man who will be greatly missed.
Derek is survived by his daughters, Cloie Marie, and Kiley Christine of Blaine. mother, Terri Clouser, grandmother Hilda Clouser, sister, Corinne Bostwick, “Uncow” David Clouser, of Camp Hill, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle George Achenbach from Duncannon. His father, David Bostwick, grandfather Richard Bostwick, Uncle Steven Bostwick, and Aunt Christine McCormick, from Shermans Dale, and several cousins including Shannon Achenbach, Erin Burkepile, Courtney Norris, Chloe Nace, Jordan Burkepile, Morgan Burkepile, Taylor Burkepile, and Michael Bostwick.
Derek was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John L. “Chick” Clouser of Duncannon, and Paternal grandmother, Mary C. Bostwick, and paternal Great Aunt Delores Lowe, both of Shermans Dale.
Services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Duncannon, PA, Thursday, June 9th. Visitation from 10 – 11, service immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Derek’s name to charities dealing with lung disease, asthma, and cystic fibrosis.
