David T. Stone

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

– 2 Corinthians 4:18

David T. Stone, 67, of Shermans Dale,  went to be with the Lord  on Tuesday, June 9 at Harrisburg Hospital.  He was the son of the late Martha (Shaffer) Stone.

Surviving are David’s wife of 47 years, Linda (Kitner) Stone; children: Heather, Nicole, Bryan, and Tiffany; 11 grandchildren; and siblings: Barry, Martin, Michael, and Judy.

David was retired from Hershey Creamery and a member of Newport Assembly of God.  His first priority was always his family.  He was an extremely dedicated father and grandfather.  He taught them to have a strong work ethic, a caring heart and to serve the Lord.   David loved the beach, camping, fishing, and music.  He could often be found talking with people, helping others and having fun. He also enjoyed social activities and outings with his Amish family.

The family will receive friends at a celebration of Dave’s life at 1 PM on Saturday, June 13 at his residence, 6240 Spring Road, Shermans Dale.  Pastor Gary Bellis will be officiating. This is an outside event so please bring a chair if you wish.  All are welcome to attend.

Please observe social distancing guidelines  and COVID 19 precautions.

The family requests that donations be sent to The Newport Assembly of God (Royal Ranger Project) 253 N. 6th St, Newport, Pa 17074

The Boyer Family is honored to handle the arrangements for the Stone Family.
