David H. Weller

David H. Weller, 86, of Shermans Valley Road, Elliottsburg, died Sunday Morning, April 26, 2020 at his home. He was born August 4, 1933 in New Bloomfield and was the youngest son of 8 children born to Ray S. and Adella Sheaffer Weller.            Dave was a life-long dairy farmer. He was a 1951 graduate of Perry Joint High School and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, New Bloomfield.  Dave was also a member of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association: he was past president of the Perry County Farmers Association (now known as Perry County Farm Bureau).  He also served on the Board of Directors of Agway in Loysville and had been a part-time rural mail carrier.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Patricia (Logero) Weller.  Two sons, David T. Weller and wife Sunday and Dennis Weller.  He was grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.  He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, John, Elmer, and Charles Weller and 4 sisters, Virginia Kretzing, Dorothy Smith, Adella Spease, and Nancy Orris.


Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 10 AM in New Bloomfield Cemetery.  Social Distancing will be observed.
