Cheryl “Diane” Rash, age 71, of Duncannon passed away peacefully on March 10, 2020 at West Shore Hospital after a long struggle with cancer. She was born on April 13, 1948 in Indiana, PA to Thomas R. and Lois Jean Myers.
Diane graduated in 1966 from Lara Lamar High School in Homer City, PA. On August 11, 1967 she married the love of her life, Michael J. Rash, and relocated to Duncannon, PA. She was a house wife, stay at home mom and the most loving caring, supportive person you could ever know. She was dedicated to her husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends and her church. Diane loved to cook, bake, garden and share her creations. She had a love of flowers and being on the water with her family. There wasn’t a day that she didn’t enjoy talking and chatting with her friends and family.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Jean Myers and her brother Dennis R. Myers. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Michael; her daughter Dayna and husband Tracy King of Marysville; son Michael R. of Duncannon; brother Thomas G. Myers of Indiana, PA; sister-in-law Shirley and husband Jerry Hetrick of Duncannon; grandson Christopher J. King and granddaughter Caitlyn D. King of Marysville, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the Duncannon Presbyterian Church with visitation and a light meal to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Diane’s name to the Duncannon Presbyterian Church, 3 North High Street, Duncannon, PA 17020.
