Charlotte E. Kisner, 93, of South Main Street, Duncannon, died early Saturday, September 28, 2019 in Stonebridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Duncannon.

Born April 23, 1927 in Perry County, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Zella (Burkey) Hoffman.

She was a 1943 graduate of Duncannon High School and was a member of the Duncannon High School Alumni Association.

Charlotte was a hard-working, matter of fact woman, with a great work ethic.

In the 1950’s she worked at the Duncannon Dress Factory.  In the early 1960’s, she and her late husband, Robert W. Kisner Sr., opened and operated Kisner’s Garage.

She was the widow of Robert W. “Bob” Kisner Sr., and is survived by a son, Robert W. Kisner Jr. of Duncannon; four brothers, Franklin Hoffman and wife Florence of New Bloomfield, John Hoffman and wife Maryellen of Harrisburg, Harvey Hoffman and wife Nancy of Camp Hill and Wayne of Dauphin. A granddaughter, Tricia (Kisner) Shaffer of West Virginia and a great granddaughter, Lilly Mae.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several siblings.

She requested no services.  Interment will be in Snyder’s Cemetery.
